Live Afaan Oromo classes for diaspora children

Help Your Child Speak Afaan Oromo With Confidence

Afrademy is a community-built online academy helping Oromo diaspora children stay connected to Afaan Oromo, culture, and identity through live classes taught by experienced educators from Ethiopia.

Our Origin

Born From Oromo Parents' Real Experience

Afrademy began with Oromo parents facing the same challenge: we speak Afaan Oromo at home, we try to teach our children, but many of us realize that home exposure alone is not enough.

For many families, spending summers in Oromia with relatives would be the natural way for children to strengthen the language. But current instability has made that path difficult or impossible for many diaspora families.

Afrademy was created as a structured online alternative — a place where Oromo children can learn, practice, and grow in confidence wherever they live.
