What is Afrademy?
Afrademy is an online academy beginning with live Afaan Oromo classes for Oromo diaspora children.
Who are the first classes for?
The first cohorts are for children ages 5–8 and 9–12 with little or no Afaan Oromo speaking confidence.
Are the classes live?
Yes. Afrademy begins with live small-group Zoom classes taught by experienced educators from Ethiopia.
Does my child need to already speak Oromo?
No. The first program is A0 beginner level and is designed for children starting from little or no speaking ability.
When will enrollment open?
We are currently gathering feedback from founding families before opening the first pilot cohorts.
